Six Seconds is a global organization supporting people to make a positive difference - everywhere, all the time.
We teach the skills of emotional intelligence so leaders, team members, educators, children, parents, and change agents make better decisions -- decisions that are life sustaining and make places where people can be and do their very best.
We are a network of exceptional professionals -- we are skilled, aware, and profoundly committed to making a positive difference in the world, one person at a time, starting with ourselves. Our work is grounded in hard science that we make practical and simple. We use effective learning design and teaching practices that facilitate transformation. We practice the skills we teach so we can be change agents fostering wholeness and strengthening the human spirit.
Through our research and experience we've found that people are more successful when they are more adept at handling emotion. It's equally true for 6-year-old students in Jordan, for senior executives in Brunei, for professional athletes in Los Angeles, for hospital administrators in Arkansas, for inmates in Tulsa, for teachers in London, for flight attendants in Abu Dhabi, and for parents in Panama. We work with them all and we've seen first hand: When it comes emotions, all over the world, all people face the same basic challenges -- and celebrate the same joys and hopes.
